Welcome to the Glooscap Curling Club!

The Club has an average membership of about 200, which includes roughly 50 junior curlers (under 21) and about 90 senior curlers (retired/50+). There are over 100 other school children that come in with teachers and seniors throughout the season. We always welcome new members. Our club has four sheets of ice. A downstairs lounge and a hall / dining area upstairs both have a wall of windows facing the ice. A bar faces the lounge and a large kitchen is adjacent to the dining area. A card room is used most mornings, and male and female lockers are available. Curling brooms, shoes and clothing are put up for sale with profits going to the junior program.

Plant and Yard Sale

We are in early stages prepping for the Plant & Yard sales that will take Place at the Curling Club on Saturday May 18th.  First job,  once the ice is removed and should be gone this week, we will lay the matting to protect the curling floor and set up the tables to receive the contributions for resale at the "yard sale".  Your treasures can be left at the club anytime.  If you don't have a key, contact:

John Calpin (902-670-1194 cell) or calpjohn52@gmail.com

 "More hands makes light work"

The week prior to the sale we need help in organizing merchandise for  the sale and gathering plants.

But, importantly we need stuff and plants, please keep the sale in mind with your spring cleaning and reorganizing.

Contact John and let him know you can help and/or contribute.
